Since January 2, 2017, driving training has undergone a drastic increase in driving schools in Cameroon. Thus, "we wanted to respond to the concern of the Ministry of Transport who was concerned about the quality of training that was provided in driving schools. That is why, after discussion with driving school officials on the national territory and with Mintransports, the practical training in driving schools passes from 10h to 20h and the theoretical training which was 20h will now last 40h, "says François Ngah Messobo, national president of the Union of Driving School Operators of Cameroon (Sneaec).
