Fluzon 150 MG Tablet is a triazole antifungal that treats fungal infections like yeast infections in the mouth, throat, food pipe, lungs, vagina, etc. It is effectively used in the treatment of meningitis which affects the membranes in the brain and spinal cord. Fluconazole is also preferred as a preventive medication in patients susceptible to fungal infections while undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy before bone marrow transplantation. Fluconazole works by decreasing the production of ergosterol, which inhibits cell membrane formation in fungi.
