Conversations avec moi meme
Around the world, Nelson Mandela is a symbol of freedom. Here are unpublished documents - manuscripts, prison letters, interviews ... - recounting Mandela's exceptional career: from his awakening to political awareness to his leading role on the international scene. Beyond the legend, they reveal the hopes, the fears and the weaknesses of a man.
Nelson Mandela was born in 1918 in South Africa. Imprisoned for twenty-seven years for his struggle against apartheid, he was released in 1990, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993, and in 1994 became President of South Africa. He died in December 2013.
"Conversations with myself make an extraordinary service to the world by revealing the face of the Mandela man."
