By creating the Agency of Standards and Quality (ANOR) by decree n ° 2009/296 of 17 September 2009, the President of the Republic has kindly strengthened the device already in place to carry and transcribe into action, his ambitious vision of "a country emerging, democratic and united in its diversity "by 2035. This vision requires profound changes in our economy, including standards constitute the very essence of its progress, quality, efficiency and competitiveness so much sought after, for the revival of economic growth and improving the living conditions of the Cameroonian population. Studies based on macroeconomic data in South Africa, in Europe and North America clearly indicate that standards contribute up to 25% of the GDP of some countries. These conclusions are hopeful because rich people strategic and operational lessons for developing countries in general, and for Cameroon in particular.
